Library
The Museum "Fin del Mundo" has one of the most complete collections of books and articles on Tierra del Fuego, the Islas Malvinas islands, Antarctica and Patagonian region in general. It has over 3.000 volumes which cover history, geography, natural science and a variety of different sciences. All these are at the disposal of students, scientists and anyone interested in reading about the different mysteries that surround Tierra del Fuego. The oldest volumes are carefully preserved and are not permitted out of the Museum. Many of these books are in the HANIS Association Library in the Museum, and the association is in touch with diverse institutions of the Patagonian region, including "San Juan Bosco" University. It's headquarters is in Comodoro Rivadavia (Province of Chubut). It functions as an information center which gathers information of the different geographical regions of patagonia, south of Río Colorado. A complete list of the bibliography will soon be available in this page.
